Who We Are

Aluta Crochets is an apparel brand in 19 September 2020. it came to our realization that Basotho youth are going through a rough provide the youth with job opportunities as well as to bring the new taste of fashion to streetwear using wool, acrylic, cotton and many more materials that can be used to knit or crochet.

Our History

    Our aim is to use social media platforms for advertising because due to COVID-19 crisis, many people spent most of their time on phones, tablets and PC screens. So, that makes social media a audience range from different places within short time and with affordable places.

    The name “Aluta Crochets” was derived from a phrase “ALUTA CONTINUA” which means the struggle continues and victory is for certain. We decided to name the brand after this phrase because it is a great motivation to keep us going in order to achieve our major goal of opening a clothing store one day.

production Timeline

Late 2020

Around September 2020, we started off producing and selling 100% Acrylic beanies with a variety of colors, designs and sizes.

Early 2021

2021 come and Aluta Crochets expanded its production and introduced new acrylic products like berets, scarfs, body warmers and lace-up shorts for girls collection. Some of these products were for winter preparation.

Late 2021

After winter, we did prepare for summer and introduced T-shirts, 100% polyester bucket hats as well as 100% acrylic buckets together with tags and Aluta logo.
